Unfortunately Colchester were only able to field 9 players, but we were able to field 11, with Molly playing for us from the under fifteens. We started well with Summer having an early shot saved by the keeper and at the other end Kelly produced a good save to deny the Colchester striker. Charley managed to win the ball in midfield and produced a good pass to Summer who produced a turn which created space for her shot which went just wide. Colchester then started to pressure our goal and Zoe, Emma Tilley, Emma Mogan and Demi did well to keep them out. We then started to attack again, with Jackie producing some good runs down the wing, we continued the pressure with Tash having a hatrick of shots which were saved, just over or wide. Demi also managed to win the ball in midfield and produced a well balanced pass to Summer, whose shot went just wide. We continued to pressure the Colchester goal with Jackie headed a ball to Tash who shot just wide and Molly also had a shot well saved, but the breakthrough came when Summer collected the ball on the outside of the area and produced a shot that curled into the top corner to score her first goal.  We continued  the pressure and Jackie had a shot saved by the keeper and then soon after Tasha collected the ball close to the by line and then managed to dribble the ball past two defenders to then power her shot into the top left hand corner of the goal.

Colchester came out the stronger of the two teams but thanks to some good defending by the two Emmas and Zoe in defence, they managed to keep them at bay. We then started to pressure Colchester again, with Tash having a shot go just wide and Molly saw her long range shot come off the crossbar. Demi then managed to win the ball in midfield again and produced a good pass to Summer who shot at goal which was saved and Courtney pounced on the rebound but her shot went over the crossbar. The Colchester striker then managed to break through our defence and Emma Tilley produced a superb sliding tackle to deny the striker just as she was lining up her shot. Charley won the ball on the edge of the Colchester area but her shot went just wide, soon after Molly produced a good pass through to Summer who powered her shot into the top corner to score her second goal. We continued to pressure and Tash put a good pass through to Courtney who saw her shot well saved by the keeper. Colchester managed to break through again and Kelly produced a good save to deny their striker. Jackie then managed to win the ball off of the Colchester defender to break through on goal to slot it past the oncoming keeper and scored in off of the post. Colchester started to pressure again and Kelly produced another good save to deny the striker. At the other end Summer saw her shot go just wide and then she put a good ball through to Tasha who saw her shot saved. We continued to pressure and Summer powered another shot past the goalkeeper to score her hatrick. We continued the pressure with Courtney putting a good ball through to Molly who saw her shot come off the post and out. Demi then won the ball in midfield and put a good ball though to Charley who was one on one with the keeper and she powered her shot past her to score her goal. 

Todays player of the match was Summer, for scoring her hatrick and continuous battling in misfiled and up front
